Follow free trail to see the best of the local art scene
The Wokingham Arts Trail is returning on the weekend of 16 and 17 September, providing a platform for local artists to exhibit their work to the public.
The annual event is an opportunity to get out and about and meet a range of local artists at venues across Wokingham, Crowthorne and Lower Earley.
All venues on the trail are free to visit and are open 10.30am to 5.30pm.

Help your community by volunteering
Do you have a couple of hours a week to spare? Come along to the Wokingham Volunteer Fair on Saturday 16 September and find a way to help your community.
There will be a variety of different organisations with a range of roles to fill, making this a great way to give back and even make new friends in the process.
The event, which will run from 10am to 1pm at Wokingham Town Hall, is free to attend and there is no need to book.
Organisations attending include The Link Visiting Scheme, Citizens Advice Wokingham, Home-Start and ABC to Read.

Charity hosts fun day to help fight homelessness
A family fun day is being held at Oakwood Activity Centre in Wokingham on Sunday 3 September.
It is being organised by Renova, a charity that aims to reduce and eliminate homelessness in Wokingham and Bracknell.
The event, which will run from 3pm to 6pm, includes wall climbing, high ropes, archery, face painting, a bouncy castle and live entertainment.
Adult tickets are £10, while children (aged three to 17) are £5 and those under the age of three get in for free. You can also get a family ticket (two adults and two children) for £25. Drinks and snacks are included in the ticket price.
Author inspired by masters of crime genre to give talk
Come and meet crime writer Tom Hindle on Wednesday 13 September and find out about his novels and career as a writer.
This a free event and will run from 10.30am to 11.30am at Wokingham Library, but places must be booked in advance.
His debut novel A Fatal Crossing was inspired by masters of the crime genre, from Agatha Christie to Anthony Horowitz.
His second title The Murder Game was published this year and another Murder on Lake Garda is due to be published next year. Tom's books will be available for purchase on the day.
Club for filmmakers of the future taking registrations
A new Film and Screen Saturday Club at Wokingham and Bracknell College is now open for sign up.
The free club is for young people aged 13 to 16 who are from low-income families, looked-after children, or those who have parents or carers who haven’t been to university.
Sessions will cover film and screen production, sound and lighting design, visual effects and animation. It also includes visits to professional studios and masterclasses with film and media industry professionals.
The club runs from 7 October to 18 May next year, with sessions running from 10am to 1pm every Saturday during term time.
No experience is required, but there are only 25 places and they will be offered on a first come, first served basis. The Film and Screen Saturday Club is offered in partnership with Activate Learning, the British Film Institute and National Saturday Club.
