Stars of the future will show their skills at talent show
The search for the most talented performer in the borough will take place on Saturday 29 July at Wokingham's Got Talent.
Starting at midday in Peach Place, the audience can expect a wide selection of acts, including singers, dancers and even dog that performs tricks. A team of experienced judges will decide who wins cash prizes.
It is free to attend and there will be food and drinks stalls serving up treats through to 6pm when the event is due to finish.
The day will also be raising money for Wokingham in Need, a charity dedicated to helping homeless and vulnerable people.
Have splash-tastic time at country park paddling pool
It's time for some outdoor water fun! The paddling pool at California Country Park in Finchampstead is now open!
The pool is open from 10am to 4.30pm on weekdays, and 10am to 5.45pm on weekends and during summer holidays.
From 15 July, each pool session lasts for 1 hour and 45 minutes and you can choose your timeslot when you book. Until then, your ticket will last all day, as we expect the pool to be less busy.
Booking for entry needs to be made online. Tickets cost £2.90 for all ages entering the water, and £1.20 for adults who need to enter the pool area to supervise children, but not the pool itself.
