Wokingham Borough Connect
Bus users can hop around for £2 this Spring
Planning to travel locally this spring or early in the summer? Don't forget that single bus fares are capped at a maximum of £2 until 30 June.
This scheme, funded by the Government, applies to Reading Buses, Thames Valley Buses and Arriva services.
We'd encourage you to give it a try - it's healthier and better for the environment than driving, and will support our local bus companies.
You can read more on the Reading buses and the Arriva buses websites.

Works on Rose Street now complete
Works to install a crossing point on Rose Street, near its junction with Broad Street, have been successfully completed and the entire road has been resurfaced. These works were carried out at the same time to reduce disruptions.
The island to enforce the width restriction has been removed and replaced with droppped kerb extensions on both sides of the road, reducing the crossing distance.
Priority will be given to vehicles travelling from Broad Street along Rose Street, with vehicles travelling in the other direction waiting at a new giveway line that has been installed.
Residents have previously raised concerns over the safety of pedestrians waiting on the width restriction when crossing the road, as well as vehicles driving around it on the wrong side of the road.
A public consultation last Summer showed 70 per cent of respondents were in favour of the proposed changes.
Bike Month Challenge is back this May
Riders of every level are invited to take part in the Bike Month Challenge this May.
Getting out there in the fresh air and encouraging others is more important than the number of miles you ride.
Everyone is invited to join in this fun challenge to help you meet your health, wellness and sustainability goals.
You only have to ride for 10 minutes to be entered into the prize draws and you can ride anywhere at any time.
There are lots of prizes to be won. Visit our My Journey website to find out more.
