So much fun at Dinton Pastures this December
December is just around the corner!
Our team at Dinton Activity Centre is offering a range of unmissable events and activities for you and your family, especially your children, at this joyful time of year.
This issue is a comprehensive guide on all the fun and exciting happenings at Dinton Pastures Country Park in the coming month.
Christmas table wreath workshop (18 Dec)
Are you still missing a centrepiece for your Christmas dinner table or coffee table?
We are excited to have Sally from Polly's Garden to host a two-hour workshop at Dinton Activity Centre on Sunday 18 December, 10am to 12noon, when you can make your own beautiful Christmas table wreath.
For £50 per person, you will be provided with everything you need, including equipment, a mix of seasonal foliage, some fresh flowers and plenty of festive dried elements such as cones, cinnamon and orange slices (candles excluded).
Demonstrations, guidance and support will be given throughout the workshop.
Polly's classes are very popular and often sell out fast, so email her as soon as you can to reserve a spot.
Crafting at the Café (19 to 23 Dec)
Does your child fancy making a decoration for the Christmas tree or hanging around the house?
From 19 to 23 December (Monday to Friday), for just £4, you can get a DIY pack for your child to make a Christmas decoration from the Coffee Deck at Dinton Activity Centre. The price includes reserving a table space in the café for 30 minutes to do the artwork.
Each DIY pack contains all the bits for making either a reindeer and a tree or a snowman. There will be staff on-site to guide you if you need it.
The activity is a good wind-down, especially after spending some exciting times at Dinton!

Let's go for a Santa run (17 Dec)
Over a hundred people have entered the Dinton Santa Dash organised by Barnes Fitness on 17 December (Saturday).
This ever-popular event is more than just a run. It has become an annual tradition for many people, after being held at Dinton Pastures for the past six years.
Suitable for the whole family with no minimum age, the event guarantees cheers and laughter for everyone. All runners will be dressed in a Santa suit and after crossing the finish line receive a Christmas medal, a mince pie and chocolates.
This year, you will also be able to spread your love by taking part in the run. Barnes Fitness will donate £2 of every entry to support First Days Children’s Charity in providing warm beds to children in need.
Sign up for a fun, festive and meaningful run!
