Wokingham Borough Connect
Spotlight: Stand out and succeed
This week's Business Spotlight falls on Digity, a marketing agency based in Wokingham town centre and shortlisted for 'SME of the Year' in last year's Thames Valley Business & Community Awards.
Digity supports a growing number of businesses, helping them stand out and compete harder by embracing digital marketing techniques. Their core services are centred around marketing strategy, website design and development, search engine optimisation (SEO), social media, pay-per-click ads and email campaigns.
They offer advice to any business looking to understand more about their opportunities to get seen by more potential prospects and establish how to turn traffic on websites or social media into potential prospects. Digity is now serving a wide range of clients including numerous showrooms, manufacturers, property companies, e-commerce retailers, professional services and more.
If you would like to know what Digity can do for your business, they offer a complimentary consultation meeting where you can discuss with them your plans and see how or if they can help. Visit the Digity website to find out more and send them an email.
Understand volunteering opportunities for employees
A damning statistic from Covid-19 is that volunteering has dropped 40 per cent across the Borough. All stakeholders are looking at how to get the numbers back up and working with the business community proves to be an effective way.
There are many sides to volunteering, from individual to group activities. Volunteers can also work out of office hours, as many charities require support in the evenings and at weekends. Matched to that are many worthy causes, but the key is to provide regular support.
A breakfast event will be held for businesses in Wokingham to better understand the range of ongoing volunteering opportunities available. Here are the details:
Event: Community/Voluntary Sector - Business Event
Date: Tuesday 29 November 2022
Time: 8.00am to 10.00am
Location: Wokingham Town Hall, Market Place, RG40 1AS
A number of local charities will be present to introduce their work and explain their challenges ahead. The business community in Wokingham will be able to learn more on how to embrace these opportunities to better inform your employees about volunteering.
Let's get the conversations started. Register to join this breakfast event for free by clicking this button.
