Marvellous Festival returns to Dinton Pastures
As we step into July, our countryside is getting busier and busier. Events and summer activities are going on to keep everyone entertained on bright summer days.
Marvellous Festival, one of the most anticipated events in the borough this summer, is returning to Dinton Pastures Country Park on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 July. Same as in previous years, it will bring a great variety of entertainment for all ages.
This year’s event features 14 world-class tribute acts, including Queen, Adele, Take That, Foo Fighters, Katy Perry, ABBA, Santana and more, together with headline performances from The Chicago Blues Brothers on the 23 July (Saturday) and How Sweet It Is, a show of classic Motown songs, on 24 July (Sunday) evening.
To add in family fun, Happy's Circus will be coming back with two cabaret-themed performances featuring music, dance, and comedy.
The Big Kids’ Village, with its various fairground rides and free activities, will give children of all ages plenty to do.
The music extravaganza isn’t complete without some fine fare. Food stalls and fully licensed bars will be set up on-site to provide festival-goers with a good selection of tasty refreshments while they are enjoying the event.
Snap up your tickets to this wonderful summer party now at Skiddle platform, before they are sold out.

Enjoy nature with your four-legged friend
Doggy paddle is a fun new activity of Dinton Pastures that enables you to spend time with your four-legged friend in tranquillity.
Our experienced instructor will start with familiarising your pet with the paddleboards or sit-on-top kayaks floating on the water. Then, you two will be able to head out for a tour of the lake and enjoy the beautiful scenery together.
After the tour, you and your dog will be given treats that make the whole experience even more delightful.
Doggy paddle is suitable for all aged eight and above, but children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Each doggy paddle session lasts for two hours. The activity is scheduled for Saturday 16 July (3pm to 5pm) and Saturday 27 August (10:30am to 12:30pm).
Book a doggy paddle session on our website.
