 Meet your new executive member for climate emergency
Following the May election, the council is under new leadership and that means we have a new executive member leading our climate emergency work.
Cllr Sarah Kerr has a real passion to push our drive to become carbon neutral forward. Her goal is to see both the council and Wokingham borough be carbon neutral by 2030.
She plans to work closely with Cllr Paul Fishwick, executive member for active travel, transport and highways, and Cllr Ian Shenton, executive member for environment, sport and leisure.
As a first step in her new role, Cllr Kerr has asked us to review this newsletter to make it as useful to you as possible.
