 Meet your new executive member for rubbish and recycling
Following the May election, the council is under new leadership and that means we have a new executive member for environment, sport and leisure.
Meet Cllr Ian Shenton, who has a keen interest in the natural environment and environmental issues, and is taking over on all things rubbish and recycling.
He plans to work closely with Cllr Sarah Kerr, executive member for climate emergency and resident services and Cllr Paul Fishwick, executive member for active travel, transport and highways, as the issues are closely linked.
As a first step in his new role, Cllr Shenton has asked us to review this newsletter to make it as useful to you as possible.
