Living with Covid – 5 things you can do
Covid-19 is still circulating. There are some things you can do to help yourself, your family and your community:
-
Get vaccinated to reduce your risk of becoming seriously ill
- If you feel unwell and have flu like or Covid-19 symptoms and a high temperature avoid close contact with others and stay at home if you can
- Let in fresh air when you meet others indoors, especially if they’re at high risk from Covid-19
-
Wash your hands regularly and cover your mouth and nose if you cough or sneeze
- Wear a face covering in crowded and enclosed places and when coming into contact with people at higher risk from Covid-19
Let’s all keep helping each other as much as possible.
Support if you’re struggling
With the rising cost of living, more people are feeling the strain on their finances. If you’re struggling, One Front Door is here. These are just some of the things the team can do to help:
- Check you’re receiving the right benefits
- Give advice on debt
- Refer you to a local food bank
- Help you access services from other charities
…and more. Call the team for a confidential chat on 0808 278 7958, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, or use the form on the website.
