Earlybird ticket offer for Marvellous festival ends Thursday
Still not bought your tickets for the fantastic Marvellous Festival at Dinton Pastures Country Park this summer?

It may still be grey outside but Dinton Pastures Country Park is already gearing up for a fantastic festival that is set to return with a bang on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 July.
This ever popular event brings together a range of talented performers and the line up for 2022 is set to be one of the best yet with some great acts already signed up to play.
Get 10 percent off sport activities this Easter
Borough children are in for an eggs-cellent Easter as Power-Up Kids Activity Camps (formally known as Wokingham Active Kids) is offering 10 percent off all sport activities if booked before 31 March.
The activity camps will run from Monday 11 to Friday 22 April (exclusive of the bank holidays on 15 and 18 April) and take place at Loddon Valley Leisure Centre, Lower Earley.
Sessions include fun-filled sport activities to keep children active and having fun during the Easter holidays. Activities include football, basketball, tennis, children's yoga, rounders, trampolining, dodgeball, pool fun, inflatables, martial arts and many more.
To book your child's place, login to our Magic Booking system. Once you have chosen your venue and day and time slot, enter code EASTEREB at the checkout to get 10 percent off.
Please note: This holiday camp is a separate scheme (paid by parents) to the government-funded Holiday, Activities and Food Programme (HAF).
Easter Holidays Bikeability Cycle Training
There's lots of opportunities this Easter holidays for children to learn to improve their cycling skills with MyJourney running a series of Bikeability sessions in Woodley and Finchampstead.
The Bikeability training is designed for children aged five years and older, to learn to ride a bike without stabilisers. Places are limited and need to be booked in advance.
Easter holiday dates at Woodford Park Leisure Centre, Woodley include:
- 11/12 April - Bikeability Level 1/2
- 12 April - Bikeability Learn to Ride
- 19/20 April - Bikeability Level 1/2
- 19 April - Bikeability Level 3
- 21 April (am) - Bikeability Learn to Ride Level 1
- 21 April (pm) - Bikeability Learn to Ride
- 21/22 April - Bikeability Level 1/2
The above courses will be run by Avanti Cycling - MyJourney's cycle training provider. Further information and how to book courses at Woodford Park Leisure Centre can be found on Avanti's website.
Easter holiday dates at the Finchapstead Baptist Centre (FBC) include:
- 21 April - Bikeability Level 1 Plus, for children aged 7 and over
- 21 April - Bikeability Level 1 Plus, for children aged 7 and over with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

Sand Art sessions at the Libraries this Easter
If you're looking for some creative family fun this Easter why not head down to your local library to join one of our Sand Art sessions?
Sessions are being held on:
- Monday 19 April, 10am to 12noon, Woodley Library
- Tuesday 20 April, 2pm to 4pm, Wokingham Library
- Wednesday 21 April, 10am to 12noon, Lower Earley Library
Spaces do not need to be pre-booked and you can simply drop-in during one of the event times to try making a sand art picture to take home.
The activity is suitable for children aged 3 to 10 years old and costs £4 per picture, paid on the day to Kids Bee Happy with Maddi directly.

Welcome return for Storytime and Rhymetime at our libraries
We are pleased to say that we are gradually restoring these popular sessions in our libraries, but numbers are limited and booking is essential.
Rhymetime is suitable for adults with babies aged 0 to 18 months, with sessions held at our libraries in Arborfield, Finchampstead, Lower Earley, Wokingham and Woodley.
Storytime is for adults with children aged 0 to 4, with these running at our libraries in Finchampstead, Lower Earley, Wokingham and Woodley.
Tickets are free and will be released a week before each session. Visit the library webpages to see what is available at each library.
Women in Art online library talk
Our Women in Art series of library talks continues with Chris Holley on Wednesday 6 April.
The contributions of artists Louise Bourgeois, Helen Frankenthaler and Bridget Riley will be discussed during this free illustrated talk, which runs from 2pm to 3pm.
This is a virtual session and will take place via Microsoft Teams. The direct link and joining information will be sent to your email the day before the talk. It is the second in a three-part series, with the final session running in May.

Award-winning author to discuss latest release
Acclaimed author Okechukwu Nzelu is to be interviewed as part of our library services' Authors Online series on Tuesday 12 April.
Nzelu, based in Manchester, is joining us from 7pm to 8pm for a virtual talk about his new book Here Again Now, a novel about love, fathers and sons.
His debut novel The Private Joys of Nnenna Maloney won a Betty Trask Award and it was also shortlisted for the Desmond Elliott Prize and the Polari First Book Prize.
He is a regular contributor to Kinfolk magazine and a lecturer in creative writing at Lancaster University.
