Wokingham Borough Connect
Sign up for emergency alerts newsletter
We’ve launched a new emergency alerts email newsletter in response to Storm Eunice.
This will be used as required when we have extreme weather, potential flooding and emergency incidents which impact large parts of the borough.
We’ll send you the latest local advice on key services like roads, bins and where to go to get more help.
It will be the newsletter we use to provide multiple updates a day with key information when responding to incidents like the recent storms. You can sign up using the button below.
 Reminder: Wokingham Half Marathon
Road closures will be in place around Wokingham town centre and Cantley Park this Sunday (27 February) for the Wokingham Half Marathon.
Rolling road closures will be in place from 9.45am until 2pm to allow the event to take place. You can see the whole route on the Wokingham Half Marathon website.
 Have your say: current consultations
-
Local residents asked us to address concerns on speed and safety in Hyde End Lane in near Oakbank School near Three Mile Cross. The proposals aim to reduce traffic speeds throughout all periods of the day and manage on-street parking, creating a safer environment for pedestrians at school pick up and drop off times.
-
We are seeking resident’s views on parking in Cirrus Drive and associated neighbourhood roads in Whitley Wood. This will enable us to determine whether there is any need to introduce formal parking controls.
You can provide feedback on a range of other local issues, including Kids Activity Camps and the Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment survey, on our Engage Wokingham borough platform.
