A warm reception for all things reading
Some of the youngest pupils from Crosfields School in Shinfield took a trip to Lower Earley Library recently.
Three reception classes took turns to visit in groups of 16 and the children had a lot of fun discovering new stories.
The visits, which ran over two weeks, were organised to encourage children to develop a love of books.
The children learned about how to look after books and had a look around the library with help from staff, who also read stories to them.
For more about school visits, or to book a class visit to the library, please email us.
