 Art focus session for children
Join Artist Chris Holley virtually as she explores the paintings in the permanent collection in The National Gallery as part of our Libraries Art Focus sessions.
Each online session will focus on a specific painting with an opportunity to learn about the artist and then have a go at creating something inspired by the painting itself.
The next event is being held on Tuesday 22 February 2022, 2pm to 2.40pm where Chris will be talking about the painting "Whistlejacket" by Stubbs before helping people create their own prancing horse.
The Art Focus sessions are suitable for families with children aged seven to 10 year old.
Places are free but need to be booked on the Libraries website in advance.
 Wild sessions are back
From the Easter holidays in April we are running four activities per day at the Dinton Activity Centre, two per session (morning and afternoon), to give your youngsters a range of different adventurous activities.
These include water sports, such as stand-up paddle boarding (SUP), kayaking or giant SUPs on the beautiful Black Swan Lake. These will be running alongside our exciting land activities including climbing, archery and learning survival skills!
New to 2022 we have introduced fencing so young people can learn the art of swordsmanship and etiquette.
You can view and book onto the Easter, May and Summer holiday programmes via the website. Make sure you check the schedule to join the activities you want. Whatever the activity we will deliver a fun and safe session to keep your young people entertained during the holidays.

Does your young person want to learn how to sail? Or perhaps improve on their skills outside of sailing courses?

The courses offered are RYA Junior Sailing Stage 1, 2, 3 and 4.
