 Key maintenance works on A329M, A3290 and A33
Twice a year, our Highways team carry out maintenance works on the road, verge and central reservation along the A329M, A3290 and A33. Works include vegetation clearance, re-lining, carriageway repair, barrier repair and litter picking.
Various restrictions are put in place while these works are carried out to ensure the safety of both motorists and our teams working on the road.

 Barrier replacements to keep roads safe
Safety barriers along the A4 through Wokingham Borough will be replaced starting next week.
These will be updated in sections over the next 11 weeks, with works in Charvil, Sonning and Woodley. It will involve lane closures in most locations and some temporary two-way lights.

Works are due to be finished shortly before Christmas.
 M4 closure this weekend
Highways England is continuing their resurfacing works on M4 this weekend.
The motorway will be closed eastbound between junction 13 and 12, Newbury to Reading, from 9pm Friday (2nd) to 6am Monday (5th).

Road Closure – Aston Lane
SGN will be working under a road closure from White Hill and Remenham Hill on 5 October–8 November to allow them to carry out gas installation works. Click here for more information

Multi-way lights – Finchampstead Road
Lights will be in place between Sandhurst Road and Sandmartins golf course, on 5-14 October, to allow Gigaclear to carry out telecom installation works. Click here for more information
Overnight Closure – Finchampstead Road
The closure will be in place between Nine Mile Ride and Warren Road on 5-10 October, 8pm-6am, to allow drainage works to be carried out. Click here to find out more
Multi-way lights – Park Lane
These lights will be in place overnight at the junction of Nine Mile Ride, 5-6 October, 8pm-6am to allow lighting repair works to be carried out. Click here to find out more
Sindlesham
2-way lights – Mole Road
These lights will be in place between Parkcorner Lane and Copse Barn Hill Lane on 7-15 October, to allow Thames Water to carry out installation works. Click here to find out more

2-way lights – Waterloo Road
Lights will be in place between Priest Ave and Borough Boundary, on 5-6 October, 930am-330pm, to allow our major new roads team to carry out vegetation clearance. Click here to find out more

These lights will be in place at the junction of Old Wokingham Road on 5-6 October, to allow lighting repairs to be carried out. Click here to find out more
