When are the dedicated slots in Wokingham’s supermarkets if you’re older, vulnerable, or an essential worker? Which ones have limits on purchases? Do they have different payment options? What social distancing measures and special support do they each have?
If you’re self-isolating and cannot physically go out, what local food companies can deliver?
Citizens Advice Wokingham has all these details about supermarket and food outlets on its website. Scroll down to 'Frequently asked questions' and the section 'I need help with food'.
Help us thank the borough's essential workers
From the carers looking after our elderly residents, through to our nurses, doctors, bin men, delivery drivers and supermarket workers - we’re so very grateful to every single one of them working around the clock supporting our communities.
We’re making a video montage to show our appreciation of them, which we’ll broadcast on our social media and news channels next week.
So if you know an essential worker you’d like to thank in our video montage, please email their photo (preferably landscape-shaped saved as a jpeg or png file) to: cem@wokingham.gov.uk
