Have your say about changes to conservation areas in Penrith and Barrow.
Local authorities have a duty to periodically review Conservation Area Character Appraisal and Management Plans and the council is proposing amendments to the conservation areas in Penrith and Central Barrow.
Consultations on the proposals run until Sunday 30 November.
A public drop-in session about the proposals will be held at the Penrith Parish Rooms on Tuesday 4 November, from 10:30am to 12:30pm and from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Paper copies are also available to read in Penrith Library.
A drop-in session for the Barrow proposals will also be held on 4 November at Barrow Library from 10am to 12 noon and 4pm to 6pm.
Read the draft character appraisal and management plans and find out the online surveys for both plans

Every child deserves a safe, supportive home — could you provide one?
Being out in the cold or adverse weather can be dangerous, especially if you have nowhere else to go.
The Council’s Homelessness Team monitor weather conditions throughout the year and have Severe Weather Emergency Protocols in place so we can provide emergency accommodation for people who are sleeping rough.
If you see someone who is bedded down or about to bed down in the open air, please let us know so that we can offer support.
You can do this by visiting Streetlink's website or by contacting the Homelessness Team in your area.
Please call 999 if you think someone is in immediate danger or needs urgent care.
Join us! There are currently 103 job opportunities available to apply for now.
