Have your say about changes to conservation areas in Penrith and Barrow.
Local authorities have a duty to periodically review Conservation Area Character Appraisal and Management Plans and the council is proposing amendments to the conservation areas in Penrith and Central Barrow.
Consultations on the proposals run until Sunday 30 November.
A public drop-in session about the proposals will be held at the Penrith Parish Rooms on Tuesday 4 November, from 10:30am to 12:30pm and from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Paper copies are also available to read in Penrith Library.
A drop-in session for the Barrow proposals will also be held on 4 November at Barrow Library from 10am to 12 noon and 4pm to 6pm.

We are committed to sustaining and delivering services, public transport, and connectivity for our sparsely populated communities. We recognise that transport plays a vital role in providing access to health services, education, and employment, particularly in rural areas.
Eleven new subsidised bus services across Westmorland and Furness have now been operating since spring.
The new routes have been added to schedules whilst a further ten services that were supported by the council last year are being maintained until November, thanks to £1.7 million of Bus Service Improvement Plan Plus (BSIP+) funding from the Department for Transport.
The short-term funding aims to create a commercially viable network of self-sustaining bus routes.
