A group of visually impaired men have had a go at playing golf, thanks to champion blind golfer Peter Osborne, of Blind Veterans, and Ali Hassan, a Rehabilitation Officer for Visually Impaired (ROVI) in Adult Social Care.
Three of the group are registered blind (Severely Sight Impaired) whilst the other is Partially Sighted. Dave, Grant, Matt and Paul spent three hours at the Carus Green golf course in Kendal being trained in how to hit a golf ball by Peter and his wife Kara.
