For anyone who works or would like to work in the food industry, this course is an essential requirement, covering:
- Food Safety in Catering Level 2
- Understanding how to be successful
- Plus one of the following units: Customer service skills, Interpersonal skills or Equality and diversity at work
Study online at times to suit you with individual support from one of our tutors on Tuesday mornings. This course usually takes learners 1-3 weeks and you'll need to come into an Adult Learning Centre at the library in Barrow, Kendal or Penrith to take the final exam.

The deadline to apply for a Year 7 place for your child starting Secondary School in September 2024 is fast approaching.

We are delighted to support the Planting for Pollinators project through our Environment Fund. The project aims to create a mosaic of pollinator-friendly habitats throughout Cumbria.
