May we remind you that Newbury Library will be closed for stocktaking on Monday 5 and Tuesday 6 December. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. No items are due for return on these dates.
The last Educafe before Christmas will be on Wednesday 7 December, 11am-2pm at Newbury Library. Come and join us to make and meet friends and learn new things. Delicious, free refreshments will be available as usual.
Educafe returns to the library on Wednesday 11 January 2023 – make a date in your diary now so you don’t miss out!
Please be aware that the opening hours at Lambourn Library will be changing slightly in the New Year.
From January 2023 onwards, the library will close at 5.30pm on Tuesdays (30 minutes earlier than at present) and remain open until 1pm on Wednesdays (1 hour later). Opening hours on Fridays and Saturdays will remain unchanged.
All library buildings will be closed on the Bank Holidays as usual and there will be some further changes to opening times between Christmas and New Year.
Additionally, Mortimer and Thatcham libraries will be closed on Christmas Eve, and Lambourn and Pangbourne libraries will be closed on both 23 and 24 December. Newbury Library will close early on 24 December, at 1pm. Please ring your local library or check our website for current details before you visit: www.westberks.gov.uk/libraries.
Our e-resources and the West Berkshire Libraries app will of course continue to be available for you to use every day of the year.
Our next newsletter will be out in early January 2023. Meanwhile we would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our library members for your support this year and to wish you all the best for Christmas and the New Year.
