Have a go at making your own Halloween decorations from recycled materials. Why not try making a toilet roll bat?
All you need is: • A toilet roll tube • colourful scrap paper • glue stick • black paint or felt tip pens • eye stickers or white pen
To make your toilet roll bat:
- Paint or colour the toilet roll black and leave to dry.
- Draw bat wings on the paper (you may be able to find bat wing templates online) and cut out. Fold a small flap at the end of the wing as this is the bit that will stick to the toilet roll body.
- Glue on the wings (along the folded flap) and you could also add small triangles for the ears from scrap paper too.
- Stick on the eyes or draw on using a white pen. Add a mouth with fangs!
