SEN Support Easy Read
We are delighted to have worked with young people from Highfields Secondary school and the Orchard Centre, Lawnswood Campus to co-produce our SEN Support Easy Read leaflet.

Appealing Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) decisions factsheet
Our new Appeal factsheet provides guidance for parents, carers and young people on the appeal process for challenging decisions made by the local authority in regards to an Education, Health and Care needs assessment (ECHNA) or an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).

SEND Solutions Surgery
IASS is pleased to announce in partnership with Base 25 we will be delivering our SEND Solutions surgery once a month starting on:

Lisa and Lauren will be there to offer information and advice on matters relating to special educational needs and disability for children and young people up to 25 years.

Family Fund: Discover more Support
Family Fund has launched its free 'discover more support' search tool on its website.
Parents and carers can browse through the 130 organisations listed to find more support and gain help on topics such mental health, wellbeing, benefits, disability and education.

Summer Holiday Activities
WV Active centres
Throughout the summer holidays, WV active centres across the city are offering a range of sports activities for children and young people to get active for free.
Enjoy cricket, badminton, swimming, junior gym, fitness circuits, girls only multi- sports, sports court hire and SEN multi- sports sessions.

Genius summer holiday club
Join Genius summer holiday club from 22 July to 15 August for mini Olympics, water games and creative activities.
For children aged 5- 14, taking place in Bilston, Penn and Wednesfield.

Active Future
Children aged 5- 14 are invited to Active future sessions at Springvale Primary School from 22 July to 2 August.
Activities include chase and invasion games, Football, Cricket, Dodgeball and Basketball, Nerf battles and themed arts and crafts.

Big Local Venture
WV10 Consortium offers its Big Local Venture from 22 July to 15 August. Learn outdoor camping skills, try archery, get creative, learn how to customise clothes and upcycle things from home. Create your own journal using painting and textile techniques, and learn how to be a DJ mixing music on the decks.

Learnplay Tech Games activities
Learnplay Foundation offers 'tech games' activities running from 22 July to 30 August for teenagers aged 12- 16 years to learn the secrets of games development and board games.

Soccer Coaching 2000
Soccer Coaching 2000 offers children aged 5- 12 years its Football and Multi- sports events from 22 July to 16 August.
Get active with sports including football, dodge ball, baseball, tri golf, archery, ultimate frisbee, tag rugby, badminton, tennis, volleyball, cricket, hockey, running, agility, balance & co-ordination circuits and jump rope.

Snooker Stars
Children aged 12- 16 years are invited to attend Golden Cue Pool and Snooker, Bilston, WV14 7LH to discover fun snooker sessions for youngsters.
Each session will create a fantastic group atmosphere where youngsters engage with one another and build bonds of friendship whilst building confidence and learning a new skill.
Expert coaching provided so that each youngster attending improves their skills and ability on the table so that they can become Snooker Stars!

Motive 8 Summer Activity Camp
Motive 8 offers its summer activity camp at Ormiston New Academy and Out Lady St Chad's School from 22 July to 9 August.
Available for children from 10- 16 years to explore activities from multi-sport, workshops, arts and crafts, quiz's and board games.

RAW real arts and BSL
Real Arts Workshops offers children and young people aged 7- 25 years their summer HAF arts and BSL programme.
Explore a wide range of visual arts such as pop art, watercolour paintings, Anime art, Illustration, ceramic tile designs, clay work etc and some British Sign Language learning with a Deaf tutor and fun BSL games. Materials and tuition is included.
