Community Open Day in Heath Town

For free help and support on a wide range of money matters and health and safety concerns, come along to a community open day in Heath Town this month.

Help at the Hub takes place at Stratton Street Community Centre, Nine Elms Lane, WV10 9AF, on Tuesday 23 April between 11am and 2pm.

Residents can drop by and get free advice – no need to book!


Family Fun at Pendeford Library

Pendeford Library will be hosting a family fun day for under fives with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) from 1pm-2.30pm on Monday (15 April).

It will include stories and crafts, fun and games and sensory toys while Parent Champions will be on hand to provide support and advice around autism. Booking is essential and spaces are limited.

Bowel Cancer Awareness Month

April is Bowel Cancer Awareness Month, and people in Wolverhampton are being reminded of the signs and symptoms of bowel cancer, and the importance of regular screening, which is available once every two years to everyone aged 56 to 74 who is registered with a GP.  More information
