There are places available on the Safeguarding Adults 2 day course. To complete the course and receive a certificate, you will need to attend both sessions on Wednesday 31st January 2024 and Wednesday 28th February 2024. The sessions are held on MS Teams and run from 9:30am - 4pm.
Upon completion of the course, you will be able to:
- Demonstrate an understanding of the requirements of the Care Act 2014 in relation to adult safeguarding
- Describe personalised responses to adults at risk of harm
- Understand you role and responsibilities and those of partner agencies
- Consider the issues surrounding consent, capacity, confidentiality and information sharing
- Describe the key steps and timescales of the adult safeguarding pathway
