Calling Santa’s little helpers!
Oh no, Father Christmas has lost his map on a practice run of his delivery route! Thankfully The City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and Wolverhampton Youth Choir has found it but they need your help to return it to him ahead of the big day!
We need to zip around the world on an orchestral adventure to track down Father Christmas. Along the way we’ll ice skate on frozen lakes, go on a Sleigh Ride and enjoy a white Christmas, all without leaving the The Civic at The Halls Wolverhampton.
We’ll be singing, dancing and best of all, a full symphony orchestra will bring our adventure to life.
Will you help The City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra save Christmas?
Event takes place on Sunday 17 December. For more information, and to book your tickets, click here!

The Hives… on a creative hiatus… surely not? Yet, while it has been over ten years since the Swedish band’s last album, 2012’s Lex Hives, anyone fearing they have fallen into the ageing rock cliche of an act touring on past glories can rest easy. Yes, The Death Of Randy Fitzsimmons is The Hives first full album in over a decade, but as its macabre title hints, the reason for the band’s absence from the studio has been uniquely and suitably The Hives. There was a problem… the increasingly long absence of The Hives’ founder, mentor and songwriter, the limelight-shunning Randy Fitzsimmons. Now, returning for their final act since his mysterious disappearance, the band have delivered a record that is not just worthy of their legacy, but one that adds fresh lustre to The Hives. The Death Of Randy Fitzsimmons is a true renaissance.
The Hives bring their "The Death of Randy Fitzsimmons" Tour to The Civic at The Halls Wolverhampton on Saturday 30 March 2024.

Richard Hawley is synonymous with his native city of Sheffield. He has released nine studio albums over the last twenty years, with two being nominated for the Mercury Music Prize. He is also a Brit nominee and received a South Bank Award in 2007. In 2023 he received 2 Olivier Awards for best Musical and best Music for his Musical Standing At The Sky’s Edge which was staged at The National Theatre and The Crucible in Sheffield.
Over the years, Richard has become as well known for his guitar-playing as his singing. He has duetted with Tom Jones, Nancy Sinatra and Shirley Bassey, and played with (amongst many more) Arctic Monkeys, Elbow, Paul Weller, Manic Street Preachers and Pulp, the band he played guitar with for a number of years.
Best known for his mix of classic songwriting, soothing vocals and northern grit realism, Richard is something of a unique artist in British popular music, being able to cross boundaries from one musical style to another whilst keeping intact his own strong identity.
See Richard Hawley live here at The Wulfrun at The Halls Wolverhampton on Tuesday 11 June 2024. For more information and to book your tickets, click here.
