Eligibility Manual Checking – DfE advice
The DfE have sent the following advice for carrying out manual eligibility checks for families claiming universal credits.
Parents should be able to provide a copy of their most recent universal credit statement, this will include their reported earnings for that month. You may wish to request payslips or previous statements for other months as well. To be eligible for the entitlement, the household income should be £15,400 or less after tax. This works out as no more than £1283.33 a month or £3850 over a three-month period.
