Residents are being urged to take extra care to prevent the spread of coronavirus and help avoid a Local Lockdown.
Significant changes to the lockdown measures come into effect on Saturday 4 July as the Government allows more businesses and activities to reopen to the public and social distance guidance changes from 2m to 1m-plus in instances where remaining 2m apart is not possible.
City develops plans to tackle any local outbreak of Covid-19
Wolverhampton's Covid-19 Outbreak Control Plan has been published, setting out how the city will tackle the spread of the virus and control any future outbreaks.

 Steps to support reopening of pubs, bars and restaurants
City of Wolverhampton Council and other agencies have been getting in touch with businesses - including pubs, bars and restaurants - to help them reopen safely from Saturday (4 July).
Following recent government guidance, cafes, hair salons and barbers, hotels and bed and breakfast accommodation are also among businesses able to reopen from this weekend, provided they adhere to social distancing and safety measures that protect both staff, customers and the public.

 Football fans are being reminded not to congregate outside the ground when Wolverhampton Wanderers play Arsenal in the Premier League on Saturday evening (4 July).
This weekend’s game, like all matches for the remainder of this season, is being played behind closed doors.
