Headstart Summer Activities

Headstart summer activities


HeadStart Wolverhampton has a programme of summer activities for young people and their parents or carers.

The programme is designed to support the emotional mental health and wellbeing of young people and families through free fun activities which help boost confidence, encourage teamwork and develop new skills.

The activities are open to children and young people aged between 10 to 16 who live in the 4 Headstart areas – Low Hill, The Scotlands and Bushbury South; Springfield, Heath Town, Old Heath and Eastfield; All Saints, Blakenhall, Parkfields and Ettingshall, as well as Bilston East.

The activities are on offer in the 4 Headstart areas include:

Low Hill Family Fun Day, Low Hill Community Centre, Saturday 27 July

BushburyFest Family Fun Day, Dickenson Avenue, Wednesday 21 August

Springfield, Heath Town, Old Heath and Eastfield:

Fun Day in the Park, Heath Town Park, Saturday 20 July

Family Fun Day, Park Village Education Centre, Sunday 21 July

Community and Family Sports Day, Guru Nanak Satsang Gurdwara, Cannock Road, Sunday 4 August
