Viking invasion!

Some of history's most formidable Vikings are in the city. Visitors to Wolverhampton Art Gallery can discover more about real Viking heroes, including the likes of legendary Eric Bloodaxe, ruthless adventurer Harald Hardrada, warrior woman Lathgertha, brave explorer Leif the Lucky, fearsome warrior Sweyn Forkbeard, and the great leader, King Harald Bluetooth of Denmark! This touring exhibition is from The JORVIK Group of Attractions, operators of the award winning JORVIK Viking Centre in York.

The exhibition runs until Sunday 8 July. Tickets are priced at £4 adults, £2 children and £3 concessions and available to buy here.


Armed Forces Day

Celebrate all that our forces do to keep us safe - this event takes place on Saturday 30 June and a whole host of activities are planned in the city in the lead up to it and on the day itself with free family entertainment in Queen Square. For full details click here.


Teddy Bear Picnic

The Way Youth Zone are holding a fun family friendly teddy bears picnic on Sunday 24 June, 12-3pm.  There will be lots of games, cookie decorating and more! Bring your favourite teddy bear along and join in the fun!
