GCSE Results Day 2018

School will be open from 9:30am on 23rd August for students to collect their GCSE results.

Summer 2018

School Shop Opening Times

The school shop will be open between 9am and 12pm on Thursday 23rd August and Tuesday 4th September for the purchase of school sweatshirts and ties. All school specific uniform can be purchased from Forrester by Monkhouse online at http://www.monkhouse.com

All students start back on Wednesday 5th September 8:45am.

School Uniform

Year 11 will be sporting their new Year 11 only Jumpers from September 2018.  They are available to purchase via the usual outlets below.

Please make sure you look at the links below if you are unsure about any item of school uniform before purchasing it.

Duke of Edinburgh Awards Success

Congratulations to the year 10 students who completed their Duke of Edinburgh Assessment Expedition last week. The two day expedition followed a route from Llanarmon yn Ial to  Llanynhafal along the Offa’s Dyke path to the overnight camp at Golden Lion Inn Campsite, Llanynhafal.  After a night under the stars and a hearty breakfast the expedition continued from Llanynhafal to Loggerheads Country Park and the completion of a successful expedition.

The students are now working on the three areas to complete the award.

 

The Greatest Show Live

Grace Evans, 7C, will be appearing in The Greatest Show Live here in Wrexham.  Grace is really enjoying the experience of seeing the production coming together from auditions back in May to opening night and on through seven performances.

‘The Greatest Show LIVE’ a tribute to the hit musical ‘The Greatest Showman’ performed live at the Stiwt Theatre in Rhos, Wrexham on 20th – 24th July 2018. Live performances of your favourite songs, Fire breathers, acrobats and stilt walkers all await you. The story follows P.T. Barnum after he loses his job after due to the company’s bankruptcy, he then sets out to finally give his family the life he promised them by reinventing himself as ‘The Greatest Showman’. He starts putting together a circus, trying to create a show like nobody’s ever seen before.

Sadly  all  performances are now completely sold out, but enjoy the show if you are lucky enough to have a ticket and keep an eye out for Grace.
