CARNIVAL OF WORDS

SHAKESPEARE HOT UNDER THE COLLAR

Company of Voices present four favourite excerpts from Much Ado About Nothing, Romeo and Juliet, The Merchant of Venice and A Midsummer Night's Dream. From high drama to hilarious comedy through Shakespeare's perceptive take on relationships of all kinds. Company of Voices is a group specialising in early theatre and early song. Catch “Hot Under The Collar” on tour in Wrexham.


Plus a fantastic books giveaway to celebrate World Book Night.

READING OF WREXHAM WORKERS’ POEM 2018

The 2018 poem is guaranteed to be as popular as ever. This year more local workplaces, including Wrexham Football Club, will be involved in a collective effort to write the 2018 Wrexham Workers’ Poem with the finalised verses being performed as part of Viva Voce.

Open mic for poets and writers who wish to read or perform their work. The evening is a celebration of the spoken word in English and in Welsh.
