The Pride of Waltham Forest Staff Awards are back!

I’m absolutely delighted to announce that our Pride of Waltham Forest Staff Awards are back for 2023!

Over the last month I’ve been blown away by the energy, commitment, and dedication of the people I’ve met so far.
I value the work that you do, and I’m thrilled that we get to celebrate you!

Waltham Forest is an outstanding organisation and I’ve seen how you are already working to make a real difference to the lives of our residents and their families.

I’ve said before how passionately I feel about reducing inequalities and creating a more equitable society - we know how tough things are at the moment for our residents - especially with the issues we face such as the impact of climate change and the cost-of-living crisis.

On my recent visits meeting staff around the borough, I have been struck by the dedication and commitment, and my expectations are constantly exceeded by our people. From those working relentlessly on behalf of our residents helping us ease the burden of the cost-of-living crisis, to those who care for our most vulnerable, working to change their lives for the better.

I am sure we all know someone who deserves to be celebrated for the work that they do. Do you know someone who has made things better for others, or has shown innovation and creativity in delivering results for our residents or the Council?

These awards are a fantastic opportunity to celebrate YOU and what Waltham Forest is all about, and I’m excited to be able to celebrate this year with you.
