Our Staff Expo is today!
We are so excited to see you all there. It's going to be an event not to be missed!
We're delighted to say that the event is now fully booked.
Please only attend the session you have booked on to.
Unfortunately, if you did not book onto a session we are now at capacity and can not accept admission on the door.
We hope you enjoy the event and get so much out of it.
See you there!
From Friday 18 August the number of permit parking spaces available at the Town Hall will reduce from 75 to 25 spaces.
This is due to the ongoing redevelopment of Fellowship Square, in line with our permanent parking strategy and our climate change agenda.
Parking at other sites
The Waltham Forest Feel Good Centre is not available for staff permit holder parking after 5pm, at weekend, and during the school holidays/summer period, which runs from Monday 21 July to Friday 1 September.
During this same period, there will be 50 spaces available at the Walthamstow Football Club. When parking at the Football Club staff are required to show their work ID pass to gain access.
Staff physical permits are no longer required to be displayed in cars at any of the three sites.
From August there will be six dedicated parking bays for staff who have a blue badge.
Before parking at any of the three sites a booking must be made. You can book three days in advance through the RingGo app.

There are key dates for all managers and staff to action regarding payroll and finance cut-off deadlines. The August payroll deadline has been brought forward to Friday 28 July, and there are final dates for invoice payments and procurement actions during the month of August, before we switch over to Oracle Cloud.
From Friday 25 August, staff will no longer have access to SAP so there are actions you must take before this happens. It is important that you read and understand the timeline so you can plan accordingly.
|
The Oracle Cloud training programme is now open for registration via Learning Pool.
Courses start in August for all managers and staff who use Council IT. For most people the courses are bite-sized, just one or two hours, whilst others are more in-depth for those with financial responsibilities. The training will be engaging and delivered in plain English, whether it is an online or in-person event, with plenty of dates to choose from.
Read more and watch the video about the courses available, who they are for, and how to locate them on Learning Pool.
