NRG Riverside are a specialist fleet business maintaining HGVs for contracted companies. With multiple depots nationwide, including Leyton E10 and +100 technicians, it’s a growing business committed to nurturing talent.
“The HGV technicians qualification takes three years and we’ve recently developed a six-year plan to advance apprentices from technician level and beyond.
Through the Council’s levy transfer scheme, we’ve created an apprenticeship to work on council vehicles, developing vital skills and strengthening our links to the community
Our apprentices receive full-time contracts from day one, fostering long-term careers with us and we are hoping to expand the apprenticeship offering to our administration people. We couldn’t do with without the support of the council.” Jenny Cook, Chief People Officer.
