Join us on Saturday 16 September from 11am to 4pm at Albert Crescent, E4 to celebrate the best in our neighbourhood with fun activities, independent makers, and entertainment for all ages.
You can shop with local independent craft and artisan traders, go on a local Black history tour, listen to live music, grab a bite of street food, entertain the little ones with activities, sort out your bike with Dr Bike, make a mini green roof and chat to Council officers and local community groups about local projects and services.
The festival is funded by Waltham Forest Council for the local community.
Over the next few months, Council officers will be at events like The Mount Festival and the French Market at Highams Park to talk Levelling Up Fund improvements.
We will be holding targeted workshops for each improvement project to parks and town centres. If you are interested in taking part and sharing your views, visit the Chingford Mount and Highams Park Commonplace engagement platform from 8am on 16 September to share feedback and sign up for updates on workshops. You can also stay up to date through this newsletter for more information on upcoming engagement sessions too.
