Lea Bridge Library: Jubilee Party

Jubilee

Lea Bridge Library is holding a free Jubilee Party on Saturday 4 June. Join us in the library garden from midday to 6pm.

This fun-filled programme includes crafts, games, afternoon tea, music and a photo booth: there's something for everyone!

Book Delivery Service (BDS)

The BDS provides library books for those who find it difficult to physically attend a library.

Books can be delivered on a monthly basis to the doors of those who find it difficult to leave their homes. Friends and carers can also register someone for the BDS.

Volunteer hands

Are you interested in volunteering? Waltham Forest Libraries value the brilliant and wide-ranging contribution that volunteers make to our community and have a number of volunteering opportunities available.

These include helping with library events, homework clubs, reading groups, the summer reading challenge and providing IT support, such as helping with our digital support sessions.

Birth registration at Chingford Children & Family Centre

Residents are now able to register their child’s birth at Chingford Children & Family Centre every Monday from 9am to midday.

We also offer a range of appointments throughout the week at Walthamstow and Leytonstone libraries.
