Topping out ceremony happening in the autumn

Juniper House

Construction of 91 homes of which 50% are affordable has been progressing on site positively during the first half of 2021 whilst following Covid-19 precautions. A topping out ceremony for completion of the external building frame is planned for early autumn, with the internal work following on behind. Early Years formal marketing of the 50 place under 5’s nursery has now started on Waltham Forest Education Hub and expressions of interest are being sought from nursery providers, allowing works to progress collaboratively to include best design input.

Pocket park and other public realm improvements

Hoe Street and First Avenue Pocket Park

There will be more greening in the area with substantially larger trees due to be installed in the appropriate planting season.

First Avenue Road residents will soon have the opportunity to have their say on a Wood Street Walls mural idea.
