 Barts NHS Health Trust has published a document which shows the emerging design for the new Whipps Cross Hospital.
The document looks at initial ideas for the hospital design and car parking as well as early proposals for the redevelopment of the wider site into a new neighbourhood that will serve local communities for generations to come.
Resident’s views on the ideas are now being sought.
It is planned to submit two planning applications early next year, one for the new hospital and the car park and the other for the wider Whipps Cross site.

 Barts Health NHS Trust is holding three virtual meetings for local residents to discuss the emerging designs.
These are on:
- Tuesday 1 December 2020, 6-7pm
- Wednesday 2 December 2020, 2-3pm
- Saturday 5 December 2020, 10.30-11.30am
Residents are also able to give their views via an online survey, email or freephone.
In late October and early November the Whipps Cross Development Team organised three virtual public engagement events.
The team has published a write-up of the three virtual public meetings, along with the slide decks and an FAQ document, on the hospital website.
