2c Fulbourne Road planning application cgi 160920

A Planning Application, reference number 202512, for the regeneration of 2c Fulbourne Road which is currently occupied by Homebase, has been validated by Waltham Forest Council Planning Services..

The proposals from developer Inland Homes are for demolition and redevelopment of the site to provide:

  • a mixed use scheme comprising 583 residential units in eight buildings ranging from four to 18 storeys. This would include 35 per cent affordable homes
  • commercial uses (flexible retail, community and leisure uses)
  • publicly accessible play space
  • new access from Fulbourne Road
  • car parking
  • provision of new plant and renewable energy equipment
  • creation of servicing areas and provision of associated services, including waste, refuse, cycle storage, and lighting
  • new routes and open spaces within the development

Statutory consultation, run by the Council's Planning Services, will now take place.

The regulations require this consultation to run for 30 days but Waltham Forest Council will continue to accept comments until the Planning Committee is due to take place.

It is expected that this planning application will go to committee for a decision in winter 2020/21
