Tell us where you would grow your own food

Seymour Road alotments

As we emerge from the pandemic, many people have expressed a desire for the UK’s recovery to be one which creates a greener, cleaner, more caring society, where reversing climate change takes a higher priority.

So there seems no better time for Waltham Forest to consider how growing food within the Borough might be prioritised in the years ahead.

Your opinion on this is important. Whether you already grow your own fruit and vegetables, have always wanted to but don’t know how, or have never considered it, we’d like to hear from you.

The deadline for sending in your ideas is midnight on Sunday 12 July 2020.

We’re pleased to announce Cycle the Lines, free instructor led cycle rides from various locations around the borough. The routes follow three different tube lines (Central, Victoria and Overground) and take you from Waltham Forest into London.

These Cycle Confident guided rides aim to make you feel confident in cycling to work, or just across the borough. So, if you’ve ever wanted to try commuting by cycle before but aren’t sure which route to take, this is your opportunity to have a go with a guide.
