Waltham Forest is one of the most diverse boroughs in London.
Like the rest of the city and across the UK, we’re seeing both a rise in reports and hearing increased concern regarding hate-related incidents.
Any act of intolerance is unacceptable and in response, we’re working together to make sure everyone feels equally at home here.
Creating a Citizens Assembly is one way we can come together, find commonalities and share ideas to stop the hate that damages our society.
This is a request for as many residents as possible to get involved. We need to hear about the experiences of as many individuals and community groups as possible.

Your voice will provide the evidence that drives the Assembly and is very important to us.
The action we take to address this important local issue will lead the way for communities across the UK who are facing the same challenges as our residents and will ultimately make Waltham Forest a safer place to live for everyone.
