Shops and car park re-opening after major fire

Boots and Superdrug pods at The Mall

Following last month's fire at The Mall, 10 retailers have now re-opened: Lidl, Pret, Gokyuzu, The Gym, Lloyds, Halifax, C&S Discount, Peacocks, Perfume Mania and H Samuels.

There are also temporary pods for Boots and Superdrug pharmacies in the Town Square offering a prescription service to customers.

Even better news – the shopping centre itself is set to open its doors on Wednesday 4 September, although some retailers will remain closed while repairs continue.

The car park is due to re-open this weekend (17 – 18 August)
