Waltham Forest Council and Taylor Wimpey are working together to redevelop The Score Centre to provide a mixed use development that will make a key contribution towards the new homes planned for the Borough.
Fifty per cent of the homes on this site will be affordable and will include Council homes. Under current proposals half the affordable homes will be family homes with three or more bedrooms.
The scheme will also provide a modern sports, leisure and community centre, an attractive public square with shops and cafes, a new health hub and a variety of community facilities, including a pre-school nursery.

The eight-hour long drop in session held at the Score Centre on Monday 4 February saw many residents call in to see the proposals from Taylor Wimpey and talk to the project team.
The feedback from those residents was very useful and will help influence the development as it progresses through the design stage.
Representatives from local businesses and community organisations, including Leyton Orient FC, Nappy Gang pre-school nursery and Waltham Forest Civic Society also came along to see the displays and ask questions about the scheme.

If you weren’t able to call in during Monday’s event you can still let us know your views.
Details of the proposals and an online response form are available on the website.
Your comments must reach us by Friday 29 March 2019.
Further drop in events for residents will be held as the project progresses.
