Have your say on how the public areas in the new neighbourhood could look

Over the next 10 years it is anticipated that 1,500 new homes, a redeveloped sports centre, primary school, nursery, workspace, retail and a health hub will be delivered as part of the redevelopment of the area around Coronation Gardens. These developments will be phased and delivered by different developers.

The Council has produced the Coronation Neighbourhood Public Realm Strategy and Design Guide Supporting Planning Document (SPD) which aims to create a framework to ensure that there is a joined up approach to designing public areas is achieved.

We are intent on ensuring that our housing developments meet the needs of local people and this SPD is part of our wider commitment to provide our residents with the best amenities and high quality housing.

From Monday 29 October 2018 until Friday 14 December 2018 public consultation takes place on the SPD so you can see what is being suggested and let us have your comments.

Following consultation the comments received will be studied and appropriate changes made to the document. The SPD will then go to Waltham Forest Cabinet for consideration during Spring 2019.
