Albert Crescent, Chingford is the place to be on Saturday 22
September, when the popular fortnightly market takes on a whole new shape and
sound with the E4 Fashion Show, DJ C from Station FM and the unveiling of the
Making Places project for this area.
Drink samples from Nirvana Brewery
of Argall Avenue, Walthamstow this promises to be a great day out for all the
family.
The market is open from
10am until 4pm with plenty of bargains on offer as well as great street food to
keep you energised and ready for the fun events taking place throughout the
afternoon.

As London Fashion Week showcases the best of British fashion and
design we are hosting our own fashion show with students from Waltham Forest
College showcasing designs from local boutiques
The show, which runs from 1pm to 4pm, is part of this week’s
Chingford Market so come along and see what stylish creations our local
retailers have to offer.

Get in the groove with the latest musical mix as DJ C from Station
FM spins the tracks from 12 noon to 5pm to entertain you so keep your ears
tuned and your feet tapping to your favourite sounds.

The
Walthamstow Farmers Market takes place every Sunday on Walthamstow High Street,
next to the Town Square and the Mall, between 10am and 2pm.
Items including fresh bread, free range eggs,
organic vegetables, cheese, poultry, succulent cooked sausages and plants are
all on sale.
Improvements are being planned for Walthamstow High Street with
the first project taking place at the Rosebank Villas junction and due for
completion in the next few months.

Dating from 1885, the
market is the longest outdoor street market in Europe and spans roughly a
kilometre of Walthamstow High Street.
Stalls sell an array of food, clothes,
and household goods and are complemented by a wide variety of cafes and
restaurants selling everything from Caribbean cuisine to traditional cockney
fare like pie and mash or jellied eels.
