Diweddaraf ar gyfnod atal byr COVID-19 i Bractisau Deintyddol Cofrestredig

Fel y gwyddoch, mae Prif Weinidog Cymru wedi cyhoeddi y bydd cyfnod atal byr ar waith yng Nghymru o 18:00 (6pm) ar 23 Hydref 2020 i 00:01 ar 9 Tachwedd 2020.

Diben y neges hon yw cadarnhau nad oes unrhyw newidiadau o ran darparu gwasanaethau deintyddol ar yr adeg hon. Caniateir teithio er mwyn defnyddio gwasanaethau iechyd lleol ac mae'r Prif Swyddog Deintyddol wedi cadarnhau ein bod yn parhau yn y cyfnod Oren o ran llacio'r cyfyngiadau. Felly, disgwylir i bractisau flaenoriaethu gofal brys dros driniaeth arferol a gallwch addasu ar gyfer statws oren uchel neu isel yn seiliedig ar eich ardal leol ac amgylchiadau practisau unigol. Lle mae gan bractis capasiti i wneud hynny, ac nad oes ôl-groniad o driniaeth frys na thriniaeth wedi'i gohirio mwyach, gellir darparu asesiadau arferol a pharhau yn ôl yr arfer.

COVID-19 firebreak update for Registered Dental Practices

You will all be aware that the First Minister has announced that a firebreak lockdown will be in place in Wales from 18:00 (6pm) on 23 October 2020 to 00:01 9 November 2020.

The purpose of this message is to confirm that there are no changes to the provision of dental services at this time. Travelling to access local health services is permitted and the Chief Dental Officer has confirmed that we remain in the Amber de-escalation phase. Therefore, the expectation on practices is that urgent care should be prioritised over routine treatment and that you can adjust for high or low amber status based on your local area and individual practice circumstances. Where there is capacity in a practice, and urgent or delayed treatment backlog has been cleared, routine assessment can be provided and continue as normal.
