Y diweddaraf gan AGIC ar gyfer darparwyr gwasanaethau laser a golau pwls dwys

Mae nifer ohonoch wedi cysylltu ag AGIC dros yr wythnosau diwethaf i ofyn a ydych yn cael darparu gwasanaethau ar hyn o bryd. Roedd hyn yn gwestiwn anodd inni ei ateb gan nad yw Rheoliadau Diogelu Iechyd (Cyfyngiadau Coronafeirws) (Cymru) 2020 yn benodol yn crybwyll darparu triniaeth gan laser dosbarth 3b/4 na golau pwls dwys.

Mae'r Prif Weinidog wedi cyhoeddi heddiw y gall y sector harddwch ddechrau gwneud cynlluniau i ailagor ar 27 Gorffennaf 2020. Rydym wedi cadarnhau gyda Llywodraeth Cymru bod gwasanaethau sy’n darparu triniaeth gyda laser dosbarth 3b/4 neu driniaeth golau pwls dwys, a hynny am resymau cosmetig a meddygol, yn cael eu hystyried yn wasanaethau cyswllt agos / gofal personol, ac y dylent felly baratoi i ailagor yn unol â'r amserlen a bennwyd ar gyfer salonau harddwch.

Rydym ar ddeall bod canllawiau wrthi’n cael eu paratoi ar gyfer eu cyhoeddi i’r gwasanaethau cyswllt agos hynny sydd wedi cael eu cynghori y cânt ailagor o 27 Gorffennaf. Byddwn yn sicrhau y caiff y canllawiau eu hanfon atoch cyn gynted ag yr ydynt ar gael.

Os ydych wedi ysgrifennu atom yn ystod y pythefnos diwethaf am ddarparu gwasanaethau ac yn dal i ddisgwyl am ymateb, gallwch gymryd y neges hon fel ein hateb. Gobeithiwn eich bod wedi cadw'n ddiogel ac yn iach dros y misoedd diwethaf.

Update from HIW for Laser and Intense Pulse Light providers

Many of you have contacted HIW in recent weeks seeking clarification on whether you are able to provide services at the current time. This has been a difficult question for HIW to answer as the provision of treatment by a Class 3b/4 laser or intense pulse light is not specifically mentioned in the Health Protection (Coronavirus Restrictions) (Wales) Regulation 2020.

The First Minister has announced today that the beauty sector can begin to make plans for reopening on 27 July 2020. We have confirmed with the Welsh Government that services providing treatment with a Class 3b/4 laser or an intense pulsed light for both cosmetic and medical purposes are considered to be close contact / personal care services and should prepare for reopening in line with the timescales set out for beauty salons.

We understand that guidance is being prepared for issue to support those close contact services that have been advised to prepare for opening from the 27 July. We will ensure this guidance is sent directly to you as soon as it is available.

If you have written to us in the last two weeks regarding opening and have not yet received a response, please accept this message as our reply. We hope you have kept safe and well during the unprecedented circumstances of the last few months.
