Senedd Debate on the Historic Environment (Wales) Bill Approaching
The Legislation, Justice and Constitution Committee published its report on the Historic Environment (Wales) Bill on 23 December 2022. The detailed report, which reflected the Committee’s careful scrutiny of the legislation, made fourteen recommendations and drew five conclusions. From the Bill Team’s point of view, the Committee’s most important recommendation is that the Bill should proceed as a Consolidation Bill.
The Senedd Cymru will now debate and vote on whether the Bill should proceed to the next stage on 17 January 2023.
