Criccieth Castle - Virtual Visits

Are you ready to discover a virtual world of Welsh heritage?

We have recently launched our latest series of Virtual Visits — offering you the chance to discover seven more of our most spectacular heritage sites and landmarks from the comfort of your own sofa.

Featuring everything from an Elizabethan townhouse to a coast-side castle ruin, the brand-new collection of immersive digital excursions will bolster our existing library of virtual site tours, all of which will be available to view and explore on the Cadw website.

Designed to be compatible across all devices, all you’ll need is a desk-top computer, mobile phone or VR head-set to be fully-immersed inside your selected, themed adventure:

Although some of our historical sites have started to re-open safely, visitor capacities are limited by number and to Wales-residents only at this time. Meanwhile, many properties remain closed to help keep visitors and the wider communities of Wales safe.

Therefore, whether you live in Wales, the wider UK or right across the globe, we hope that our virtual tours, will offer an alternative way to engage with the very best of Wales’s built-heritage — until we can safely welcome you back to our historic monuments, in person.

For more information about our Virtual Visits, please visit our website and keep an eye on our social media channels for regular updates and new content releases.

Diolch,

Cadw
