2nd Annual Active Travel Conference - “Putting Young People on the Map”

Free Schools Councils DVD

DVDs are available free of charge to schools in Wales.  The DVD is about developing effective school councils.  It has been produced and designed by children and young people for their peers and included examples of good practice and training activities.  Please email steven.nicholas@wales.gsi.gov.uk for your free copy.

Hwb refresh

Have you visited the new Hwb website? The site has undergone extensive redevelopment and now provides a far more intuitive experience for users.  Hwb also offers a host of new digital tools to authenticated users. These include materials from Just2Easy and Encyclopaedia Britannica.

An improved search interface provides seamless access to the extensive range of teaching resources which is constantly being expanded. In addition, authenticated users are now able to bookmark, rate and review resources, as well as direct access to their Hwb+ site and to Office 365.  Take a look at the new Hwb site here.

The Law Faculty at Cambridge University is holding a conference for sixth form teachers and advisers on 'Advising Students on Studying and Applying for Law at Cambridge'.
